SIBER water blocking tapes have an excellent swelling property.When water enters into a cable protected by water blocking tape,the super absorbent powder within the tape instantly forms a water blocking gel,that prevents further and more costly damage to the cable.
SIBER water blocking tapes are available not only semi-conductive but also non-conductive,PET laminated versions to suit diverse cable applications.

Application: Be used for cushion and water blocking inside metal jacket of super high voltage power cable.
It has low surface resistance, low volume resistance, high tensile strength, good temperature resistance and good anti-adhesive.
